Disability Leadership Network of Houston 2011/2012

DLNH is a local leadership and advocacy training program for parents, adults with disabilities and community members who are interested in learning more about disability issues.  Participants develop skills necessary to make personal contacts for the purpose of advocating for people with disabilities from an individual level up to and including broad public policy changes.  This basic or “entry level” training includes key fundamental topics relating to disability advocacy activities and introduces the values of the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. You will be provided opportunities to develop and practice these leadership and advocacy skills in class.
