Making a Difference Together 6th Annual Special Education Parent Conference and Resource Fair Sponsored by: Family to Family Network and KISD Special Education Department   Date: Saturday, February 12, 2011 Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.   Location: Cinco Ranch High School (KISD) 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy, Texas 77494

This free conference will be open to family members of children from age birth to adult, with any type of learning or developmental disability. It is our goal to provide parents with information on a wide variety of topics, including, but not limited to: early childhood development, positive behavioral strategies, ARD, disability law, specific disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, ADD / ADHD, learning disabilities, etc...), estate planning and special needs trusts, transition, therapy practices, advocacy, the medical home, inclusion, sibling issues. For a detailed listing of sessions offered, please refer to the conference brochure below.

There will be four, 75 minute sessions throughout the day. Parents must pre-register for the conference. Pre - registration begins on January 1, 2011. On-site registration will take place that day, but parents should note that all sessions may not be available.
