This movie chronicles the struggles and triumphs of a young lady with multiple disabilities journey through the system (institutions and segregated facilities) and her perserverance to reclaim her life. Candi has gone on to attend college, travel to Morroco to assist children with disabilities, and was most recently the keynote speaker for the Texas AT conference in June.  In addition, she is a graduate of Family to Family Network's 2006 Partners in Policymaking class.
