The Rotary Club of Katy Sunrise is proud to present the 3^rd Annual Family Run & Fun that will be held at the University of Houston ≠ Cinco Ranch on Saturday, May 13^th, 2006. This exciting and unique event will celebrate the youth of Katy, presenting their art, their music and showcasing their unselfish community service as exhibited by their participation in this very important fund-raising event.

There will be something for the entire family including a 5K run and childrenπs activities including an arts & crafts tent, moonwalk, face painting, and kid friendly games. With the exception of the 5K run, all activities will be provided free to the community.

Family to Family Network is a non-profit organization formed in 1993 to help families of children with disabilities. Funds from the dayπs activities will also benefit other charities that operate right here in our community such as The Brookwood Community, Krause Childrenπs Center, Breath of Life Childrenπs Center Clinic, and H.A.L.T.E.R., as well as sponsoring scholarships for high school students in the Katy area. Other beneficiaries of the Rotary Club of Katy Sunrise are Foundation Nameste India who helps Indian families by drilling water wells to help with their most basic necessity, fresh water; assisting in the donation of a commercial washer and dryer to a maternity hospital in Nicaragua; and sponsoring in-bound and out-bound high school exchange students through the Rotary International Youth Exchange program

These programs, scholarships and charities are only possible because of the generosity of corporations, locally owned businesses, and individuals whose donations support the Katy Sunrise Rotary Foundation. With this in mind, I am asking for your financial support and involvement with the 2006 Family Run & Fun.
