BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! True Colors is an easy and effective method of understanding human behavior that has been used in schools and businesses for years. Learn how to apply this system to your everyday life and become a better communicator with school personnel, colleagues, family members and policymakers.

Fair
Join us for this one-stop opportunity to get to know the many resources available to people with disabilities and their families in the Houston area! Representatives from a variety of organizations and service providers will be available to share information and resources.

p.m.: ³Customized Employment: Careers for Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime²
This session will introduce person-driven strategies for determining the best possible conditions
of employment, job development strategies that short circuit the brutality of competitive
employment models, small business development options, resource ownership as a tactic for
creating economic opportunity, amalgamated funding techniques, and work incentives that allow
people to make reasonable salaries. Examples will be drawn from across the country.

Disability Leadership
Network of Houston is a project of Family to Family Network, funded through a
grant from the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) with funds
provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on
Children and Families, Administration on Developmental Disabilities. The State Farm Good Neighbor Program
and Houston Endowment also provide support for this program.
